• About Final Examination:

  You are being reminded to check the “Rules to be Observed by Candidates at Examination Centre” at the RES website, AND also the examination rules and arrangements announced by the course teacher, which could be during classes, via email, posted on course platform, and/or any other communication channels used by the course teacher before the examination date(s). Please also pay attention to the announcement of the Chief Invigilator (CI) at the examination venue.

  IMPORTANT: There are some common violation of examination rules:

  • 1. Start writing on the exam script cover before the CI announced the start of the examination.
  • 1. Wearing of smart watch during examination.
  • 1. Did not switch off and put the mobile phone in bag and put it under the chair.
  • 1. Did not put down pen after the CI announced the end of the examination.
  • 1. Start talking to others while waiting for the invigilators to collect the examination scripts.
  • 1. Cheat sheet problems – bring cheat sheet which is not allowed by the teacher / bring extra cheat sheets / use wrong paper size for cheat sheet.

  Please read the information carefully and fully comply with the rules and arrangements to protect yourself from being involved in suspected cheating or violation of examination rules or any other misconduct or disciplinary acts. All suspected cases will be reported to the responsible disciplinary committee for investigation. Ignorance, no intention to cheat, careless mistake, did not gain actual benefits, etc. are not excuses to defend you from being charged and penalized.
